Afterschool Wraparound - Childcare Activity Leader 

Location: Fairlight Primary School Saint Leonards Rd Brighton BN2 3AJ 
 

Hours:  We are looking for 2 individuals 

- One to work two afternoons per week from 2.45pm - 6.00pm Tuesday and Thursdays

- One to work five afternoons per week from 2.45pm - 6.00pm

Pay: National Minimum Wage up to 12.71 per hour
 

Contract: Term time contract with the option to work in our Holiday Camps as overtime. 

Start Date: September 2026 - New academic school year

What youll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting age-appropriate activities like multi-sports arts & crafts group games and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe clean and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm ensuring every child feels welcome safe and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:309:00am and 3:006:00pm perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

• Someone who loves working with children and brings a positive can-do attitude

• A team player whos also confident running activities and managing a group
• Bonus points if you have experience in teaching coaching childcare or youth work (but not essential personality goes a long way!)

Please note: This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
