As Activity Coordinator you will organise and support residents to participate and engage with meaningful activities of their choice and preference both within the care home and within the
community.
The day to day role includes but is not limited to the following;
- Toplan and organise activities within a care home
- To engage residents in activities both one to one and group
- To access activities for residents outside of the care home
To access and arrange for community based groups to visit the home - To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
- To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals care notes
- To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
- To contribute to the Homes newsletter and manage the social media account
- To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home
You will work 3 x 5 hour shifts per weekwhich will include working some weekends and evenings
