The Role
You will work closely with the Directors and manage a portfolio of mainly owner managed business clients across a broad range of industries. The role will be a mix of accounts tax and client management work with the opportunity to get involved in supporting and mentoring junior members of staff.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns
Advising clients on general accounting and tax matters
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Assisting the Directors with ad hoc projects and practice development work
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
Strong background within an accountancy practice environment
Experience managing a portfolio of clients
Good knowledge of accounts and tax compliance work
Strong communication and client management skills
Organised personable and able to work independently
