The Opportunity

We are recruiting an Accounts Seniorforthis full-time office-based position in Dunfermline. The successful candidatewill manage a varied portfolio of SME clients prepare year-end and managementaccounts assist with tax computations and provide a proactive is an excellent opportunity for a newly orrecently qualified accountant to build their career within a supportivepractice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existingand new SME clients.
  • Maintain regular client contactand deliver a proactive high-quality service.
  • Prepare statutory accounts forlimited companies partnerships and sole traders.
  • Prepare management accounts anddraft personal and corporation tax computations.
  • Support the departmentalmanager and partner with ad hoc client assignments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledgeof accounting standards and personal and corporation tax requirements.
  • Communicate clearly withclients and HMRC both orally and in writing.
  • Work closely with colleagues toprovide a coordinated service to clients.
CandidateProfile
  • Newly or recently qualifiedaccountant ideally with at least three years experience in an accountancypractice.
  • Competent in preparing soletrader and FRS 102 limited company accounts.
  • Clear commitment to deliveringfirst-class service to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail anda high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage your ownworkload use initiative and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills with theability to learn and retain knowledge of software systems.
  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skills.
