TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitment agency ise supporting a highly successful and growing accountancy practice in Ashford who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior into their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience who is looking to continue their studies and progress their career within a supportive and modern firm.
You will work with a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses across a range of industries gaining exposure to accounts tax VAT and wider client advisory work.
- Preparing statutory accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients
- Assisting with management accounts preparation
- Preparing VAT returns
- Supporting with corporation tax and personal tax work
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Working closely with senior members of the team to continue developing your technical knowledge
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA studying
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Experience with cloud software such as Xero QuickBooks or Sage is beneficial
- 25000 - 35000 dependent on experience and background negotiable
- Full AAT/ ACCA/ ACA study support

Required Skills:
Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10 years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
