Salary: Up to 42000 (depending on experience)

An established independent accountancy practice in East Yorkshire is looking to recruit an to support its continued growth following an increase in new client work.

The role

Youll be responsible for managing a varied workload across general practice including:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a broad portfolio of clients

• Corporation tax and personal tax compliance

• Preparing VAT returns

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Supporting owner-managed businesses with their day-to-day accounting needs

• Working closely with experienced colleagues across the practice

• Optional involvement in audit assignments with training available if youd like to develop in this area

About you

Youll ideally have:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice

• Experience preparing year-end accounts

• Good knowledge of VAT and general practice accounting

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A proactive approach and willingness to build client relationships

Whether youre AAT qualified ACA/ACCA studying qualified by experience or fully qualified the firm is interested in speaking with candidates who have a solid practice background.
