We are a large University covering a wide range of Professional Services we support the Universitys research and teaching offering many career and role specialisms.

As a student accessibility tester you will help to ensure that the websites and applications used by students and staff at the University are your role you will learn to use various computer functionalities and assistive technology such as screen masking customisation and magnification tools screen readers navigation by voice or keyboard. The role involves familiarising with a website conducing automated and manual accessibility testing and writing an accessibility statement that summarises the accessibility errors found so that they could be addressed by other teams. Colleagues from Disability Information Service willsupport you throughout the whole testing process.

This post is part-time (up to 15 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
