3D CAD BIM Technician

Werelooking for a talented 3D CAD / BIM Technician to bring technical excellence creativity and collaboration to our growing Design Team.

In this roleyoulltake the lead in developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings for a diverse range of water and wastewater treatment closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure digital designs meet industry standards support project coordination and contribute to the continual enhancement of our BIM workflows.

Alongside hands-on modelling workyoullalso provide mentorship helping junior technicians develop their ownexpertiseand confidence. This is an opportunity to combine technical skill with leadership driving quality and innovation across our digital design processes.

Please note that the role requiresfor youto be in the office or on site at least 3 days a week.

WhatWereLooking For

Wereseeking someone who combines strong technical ability with a collaborative mindset and a passion for highquality design. The ideal candidate will bring experience problemsolving capability and a desire to help advance our digital engineering practices.

Experience

• 5 years as a CAD/BIM Technician ideally with water or wastewater sector experience.

• Proficient in BIM tools (Revit Navisworks) and CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) including managing complex models.

• Skilled in clash detection model coordination and multidisciplinary BIM integration.

• Strong understanding of technical drawings specifications and qualitycontrol processes.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-related CAD/BIM standards and regulations.

Knowledge & Skills

• High attention to detail accuracy and strong organisational skills with effective communication and crossdiscipline collaboration.

• Problemsolver with experience mentoring junior team members and supporting project coordination documentation and BIM workflows.

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Architecture Drafting or related field with proven experience ensuring model accuracy compliance and effective workflow management.
