The Details:

• Title:1:1 Support
• Reporting to:Camp Manager
• Contract:Seasonal work available in school holidays (Easter Summer and half terms). This role is recruited for according to the booking dates of the child.
• Hours:Usually 8.30am 5.30pm weekdays. Full time or part time roles available and additional hours available for staff that hold a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am 6pm).
• Pay:92.23- 110.03 (excluding an additional 12.07% additional holiday pay)based on experience qualifications & shift length.
• Date: The 1-1 will be for the 4th August with the option to work other dates as an Instructor with us.

Summary of Position:

1:1 Support staff are required to work directly with SEND children who are used to receiving 1:1 support in their term-time environments. The role requires staff to ensure the weldare and safety of their assigned SEND child is maintained at all times while encouraging their engagement and participation in camp activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working with SEND children in a 1:1 or group setting.
• Able to tailor your approach according to age ability and needs of the child.
• Be enthusiastic energetic and passionate about developing children through play and activity.
• Good organisation and communication skills. Candidates must be confident in their own abilities and not shy away from responsibility.
• A flexible team player able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
• Someone looking for a challenging but hugely rewarding and enjoyable job in the holidays looking to further their career in the childcare and coaching industry.

Desirable Requirements:

• Qualified in or working towards a relevant teaching or childcare qualification.
• Experience taking sole charge of a group of children.
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification
