• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a named secondary student with additional needs
• Helping the student access lessons complete classroom tasks and engage confidently with the curriculum
• Implementing individual strategies and support plans under the guidance of the SENDCO and teaching staff
• Supporting positive behaviour organisation independence and social development throughout the school day
• Monitoring progress and wellbeing while providing regular feedback to teachers and the wider pastoral team

The ideal 1:1 Support Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs in a UK school or educational setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a patient confident and dedicated graduate with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to helping students thrive.

• 444-513 per week pro rata to term time only
• Full-time long-term contract with an ASAP start
