Support the pupil both within lessons and during unstructured times throughout the school day
Help create a positive structured and nurturing learning environment
Monitor progress and contribute towards SEND support plans
1:1 SEN Support Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting children with SEND
Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is highly desirable
Strong communication patience and adaptability are essential
1:1 SEN Support Assistant candidates should be proactive resilient and passionate about supporting young people
A background in Psychology Education or a related field would be advantageous
