Garment Merchandiser (Turkey)

What youll be doing...

Supporting the drive to position ASOS globally as a leading Fashion brand through garment development trend adaptation & sustainability initiatives. 

• Managing the critical path from end to end. 
• Working closely with factories garment manufacturers and suppliers to negotiate the best prices delivery lead times and quality standards. 
• Coordinating with buying and design teams to organize buying trips in collaboration with suppliers. 
• Ensuring product quality and working with the technical team by reviewing fits workmanship and fabric performance taking proactive measures to solve production issues for ontime shipment. 
• Supporting and offering ideas for new production processes & best practices aligned with ASOSs Commercial Strategy and Sustainability goals. 
• Researching & presenting regular trend updates sourcing new manufacturing techniques trims and embellishments as appropriate ahead of the season. 
• Collaborating with the Sustainability and Ethical Teams to work towards the  targets and maintain full transparency of production origins. 

Qualifications :

Who wed like to meet...

• Experience in garment manufacturing sourcing or production preferably in a multi-product supplier or at a retailer (buying merchandising or product development). 
• Strong ability to present ideas trends or reports effectively to stakeholders. 
• Excellent organizational and negotiation skills with experience managing multiple suppliers. 
• Good knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting. 
• Understanding of PLM systems and production tracking would be a plus.
