Controller
Job Summary
As a Controller you will supervise the planning accounting treasury credit control and admin processes of the affiliate in accordance with global and local policies as well as local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Reporting:
- Lead Planning Team and Business Finance Manager for annual Plan/Update/LRP/LBE preparations and providing any financial support and actual reporting to management team and all related functions.
- Be involved in S&OP preparations and lead financial reconciliation.
Accounting:
- Manage and coordinate the financial close process; conduct pre-close meeting with Commercial Finance Area Financial Services ( AFS) BPO and Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Supervise all accounting-related activities of the affiliate including all assets & liabilities ensuring that they are in accordance with global / local policies & procedures and local laws / regulations.
- Maintain external relationship and interfaces with local auditors tax advisors Tax & Treasury CoE financial institutions and governmental officers.
- Be involved in tax and statutory reporting to government especially coordination with Tax COE and outsourcer.
- Implement & improve local financial and accounting procedures in accordance with local law and corporate policies.
Credit Control & Treasury
- Leads the Credit Control department for customer credit terms credit limits collections and achieving organizational KPIs.
Admin Affairs:
- Lead Admin Affairs function for fleet management building administration and risk management
People Management:
- Ensure the effective implementation and follow up of Performance Management and Talent Management Programs.
- Attract select interview and onboard new recruits to the team.
- Prepare individual development/growth plan for each direct report; effectively follow up trainings and development actions.
- Plan differentiate follow up and communicate rewards (merit and incentive) to the team members.
- Develop update and maintain job descriptions for all team members. Ensure realization of core job responsibilities.
- Organize periodical department meetings to follow up improvement to enforce communication and to enable information flow within the team members.
Qualifications :
Knowledge & Experiences
- A Bachelors degree preferably in finance business adminstration or economics. Prefarably Master degree in Finance or CMACPA
- Fluency in Turkish and English
- SAP Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience inc. 3 years solid experience gained at roles that require and utilize strong analytical skills
