Quality Engineer

Key accountabilities :

-Develop and implement quality control systems and testing procedures
-Conduct inspections audits and product testing
-Identify defects root causes and corrective actions
-Designs develops & implements robust quality processes and systems to assure compliance with quality standards regulations & customer requirements
-Coordinate with the Plant Team actions plan to reduce or eliminate non-conformities that can lead to risk the product quality
-Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality
-Maintain documentation for quality assurance processes
-Determines implements & maintains Quality Controls on the different processes to continuously improve its performance developing Quality Control Plans
-Monitor the verification and/or calibration of all monitoring and measuring equipment used in manufacturing.
-Take timely decisions regarding non-conforming product materials shipments urgent materials. Coordinate efforts between areas to inspect products or in case rework is needed
-Works collaboratively with team members for Product Change request implementation & Value Engineering initiatives providing detailed follow up according to stablished quality requirements
-Supports new product machines & process validation activities including developing protocols conducting / leading testing analyzing results & implementing improvements
-Conduct training sessions
-Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for the manufacturing process
-Analyze and update monitoring indicators (reporting data dashboards scrap rates etc.).
-Participate in quality audits and quality management system improvements.

Qualification required:

Engineering Degree (Industrial Chemical or similar) or quality management
3 -5 years experience in manufacturing quality role

Knowledge & skills:

Solid background in ISO 9001 and related quality management standards
Proficiency of internal audits
Experience with quality tools (PDCA 8D AMDEC Monitoring Plan QRQC 5M 5S 5 Why...)
Strong Knowledge of process and product metrology and capability.
High proven expertise in plastic injection processes.

Language: fluent French and English (read spoken and written)
Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
