Could you be the full-time Infrastructure System Department Head in Bangkok were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative forward-thinking and motivated teammates.

Youll play a critical role in shaping and leading an engineering team to achieve operational excellence and deliver innovative solutions for the future of mobility. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (including project managers HR and technical experts) oversee project execution and drive continuous improvement initiatives among other responsibilities.

Youll specifically take care of defining and implementing the engineering vision for your department and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration but also ensuring the alignment of resources and workload to meet project objectives.

Well look to you for:

  • Defining and implementing the engineering vision including team development technology evolution and department competitiveness

  • Setting clear team goals delegating tasks and establishing deadlines

  • Providing support for project and program execution

  • Promoting Alstoms values and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation

  • Motivating evaluating and developing team members in collaboration with HR

  • Recognizing high performance and rewarding accomplishments

  • Developing the growth of World Class Engineering (WCE) experts

  • Ensuring the deployment and improvement of processes methods and tools within your scope

  • Contributing to the Reference Library and improvement roadmaps to enhance competitiveness

  • Overseeing workload forecasts and capacity planning leveraging subcontracting and business strategies

  • Participating in tender design reviews and documentation reviews

  • Committing to Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets for your domain

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams

  • Strong understanding of engineering processes methods and tools

  • Familiarity with project/program management practices

  • A leadership or management certification (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and motivation skills

  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
