A Production Planner is responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules materials and resources to ensure products are produced efficiently on time and within cost targets.
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand inventory levels and manufacturing capacity
Coordinate with material planners procurement warehouse production logistics customer service teams
Track production progress and adjust schedules when delays or disruptions occur and communicate with customer service teams
Analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock
Prepare daily weekly and monthly production reports
Work with quality assurance teams to ensure production standards are met
Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations
Manage work orders and production documentation in MRP systems
Required Skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management
Proficiency in Excel and MRP software (SAP)
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
