DESCRIPTION
Join our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (CMD) division at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Technical Sales Specialist- LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) where youll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise in our advanced analytical instrumentation portfolio. Youll represent our cutting-edge LCMS systems working closely with customers to understand their analytical challenges and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
As a technical advisor you will:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers key opinion leaders distributors and strategic partners to enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic market intelligence to the commercial team.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales marketing and technical support to implement sales strategy serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle from opportunity qualification through proposal development technical validation negotiation support and successful handover for implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
How you will get here:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent
Technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in LC-MS including sample preparation and associated workflows. Minimum 3 years or more work experience using LC-MS
Experience with quantitative LCMS workflows would be added advantage
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
Demonstrated success in technical activities i.e coordinating issue resolution ensuring customer success and long-term account growth.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts
Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
Travel requirements of 25-50% within assigned territory
Proficiency in English required additional languages valued
