At PwC our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements internal controls and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement whether due to fraud or error and to issue an auditors report that includes the auditors opinion.

You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients and to deliver quality. As a Senior Associate youll work as part of a team of:

• IPO related services e.g. GAAP conversion internal control

• Accounting advisory services e.g. accounting restructuring GAAP advisory

• Business transformation services e.g. business improvement business reorganisation debt restructuring going digital.

• Special purpose reports on various business matters

Working within the team involves:

• Working on the assignment areas

• Raising and summarising issues to discuss with the clients and team

• Meeting with team and clients to discuss

• Prepare reports or presentations and present to relevant stakeholders

• Training and coaching junior staff
