Job Summary
About the role
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving hotel revenue through the development and management of key accounts corporate business leisure groups MICE and other relevant market segments. The role will represent the hotel in the market build strong client relationships identify new business opportunities and work closely with the Commercial and Operations teams to achieve room nights revenue occupancy and profitability targets while maintaining Holiday Inn service and brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales activities to achieve assigned revenue and room-night targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing corporate and leisure accounts
- Conduct regular sales calls client visits presentations and property tours
- Build relationships with corporate companies travel agencies DMCs tour operators and MICE partners
- Generate business for rooms meetings events and other hotel facilities
- Prepare sales proposals contracts and commercial agreements as required
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and business partners
- Monitor account production and identify opportunities for increased business
- Develop group and MICE business opportunities
About you
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Sales Marketing or related field
- Minimum 35 years of hotel sales experience
- Previous experience as Sales Manager Senior Sales Executive or equivalent
- Experience with an international hotel brand is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of corporate leisure wholesale and/or MICE markets
- Proven track record in achieving sales and revenue targets
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Thai language is required for Thailand-based roles unless otherwise specified
- Willingness to travel for sales calls trade events and business development
