BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The mission of WFP is to end global hunger. Every day WFP works worldwide to ensure that no child
goes to bed hungry and that the poorest and most vulnerable particularly women and children can
access the nutritious food they need. Sitting within the Supply Chain and Delivery Division procurement
as a service is responsible for cost-effective fair and transparent purchase of food as well as the goods
and services required to support the global operations of WFP.
Over the last decade the value of WFPs procurement has tripled as the number and complexity of our
operations response to this dynamic environment WFP began a transformation project to
address inefficiencies across processes structures and technology. This has birthed the development of a
digital solution to connect data from different systems and enable teams to track the entire procurement
process from end-to-end. The Project will also support better data analysis to help operational decisionmaking improve efficiency and accountability and secure the best value for money for WFP operations.
The Regional Change Agent will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful implementation of the
digital solution within their respective region and countries. This individual will serve as a liaison between
the project team and regional stakeholders facilitating communication providing guidance and driving
adoption of the new procurement processes and tools.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Facilitating Change Management: Act as a change agent within the region promoting awareness
and understanding of the digital solution and its associated benefits. Champion the adoption of
new processes tools and methodologies among regional stakeholders including procurement
officers business units and management.
2. Providing Support and Guidance: Offer guidance and support to regional and country-level
teams throughout the implementation process addressing questions concerns and challenges as
they arise. Serve as a point of contact for regional stakeholders offering assistance and
facilitating resolution of system issues and requests.
3. Coordinating Training and Communication: Organize and lead informational sessions
workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and adoption of the digital solution.
Facilitate communication between the project team regional stakeholders and country-level
implementation teams ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.
4. Monitoring Progress and Feedback: Monitor the progress of implementation within the region
identifying areas of success and areas requiring additional support or intervention. Collect
feedback from regional stakeholders regarding their experiences with the digital solution
sharing insights and recommendations with the project team for continuous improvement.
5. Drive system improvements collaboratively: Collaborate proactively with team members and with
crossfunctional team members to cocreate and co-deliver system solutions that enhance efficiency
transparency and shared ownership across the transformation journey

DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
Key accountabilities of the Regional Change Agent will include:
1. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the global headquarters and
country levels including procurement officers business units and management.
Advocate for the digital solution highlighting its benefits and addressing any concerns or
resistance to change.
2. Training and Capacity Building:
Collaborate with the project team to develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs
of regional stakeholders ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for
successful adoption.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to regional and country-level teams offering assistance
with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
3. Communication and Awareness:
Develop and implement communication plans to keep regional stakeholders informed and
engaged throughout the implementation process.
Act as a spokesperson for the project within the region promoting awareness and understanding
of the digital solution through various channels including meetings presentations and written
communications.
4. Change Management Support:
Assist regional and country-level teams in conducting change impact analyses identifying
potential areas of resistance or concern and developing strategies to address them.
Collaborate with the project team to implement change management initiatives and interventions
tailored to the needs of the region.
5. Drive system improvements collaboratively
Co-design and launch digital solution initiative with cross-functional partners to streamline core
processes translating field-level operational insights into practical improvements that align GHQ
initiatives with COs realities.
Establish and lead a cross-functional collaboration rhythm ensuring relevant stakeholders contribute
to solution scoping testing and deployment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as business administration procurement
or change management.
Experience: At Least 3 to 5 year of relevant work experience. Demonstrated ability to work
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience in training and capacity building with the ability to develop and deliver
engaging and effective training programs.
Proven experience in change management preferably within the context of
procurement or digital solution implementation projects.
Knowledge
& Skills:
In depth understanding of procurement solutions and management of source to
contract and supplier management relationship processes.
Strong Knowledge on Sourcing Contract & CSO in Coupa
Strong Knowledge on Coupa Sourcing Process (RFP RFI RFx and Auctions)
Contract Collaboration (Template forms Workflow etc
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and
influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Languages: English level C any other UN official language prevalent in the region is a plus.
