ROLE OVERVIEW
Assistant Manager-level procurement role owning sourcing strategy supplier qualification contingency sourcing and Total Cost initiatives at the site. Strong focus on automotive-related supplier management and localisation across global sourcing regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to business quality and cost objectives.
- Manage supplier onboarding qualification and evaluation.
- Develop contingency sourcing strategies (Plan B) to mitigate supply chain risk for automotive-related operations.
- Manage both overseas and local suppliers qualification sourcing activity local resource development.
- Support supplier transition and localisation initiatives across global sourcing regions (Europe Asia China).
- Use AI tools and digital solutions (e.g. Copilot) to improve sourcing efficiency spare-part management and procurement operations.
- Drive Total Cost Optimisation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Industrial Management or Engineering.
- Strong Total Cost analysis capability.
- 510 years working experience in strategic or operational procurement roles in any industry.
- Sourcing and localisation experience for equipment and manufacturing-related suppliers.
- Comprehensive global supply chain and procurement best-practice knowledge.
- Analytical mindset data-driven decision making.
- Excellent negotiation project management and interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented proactive initiative-driven working style.
- Comfortable working under pressure and independently.
- Good command of English (written and verbal).
