We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer with strong expertise in Reservoir Engineering and Reservoir Simulation to support subsurface development activities for producing oil and gas assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for reservoir performance evaluation production optimization forecasting reserves management simulation modeling and field development planning.
This position is ideal for professionals with extensive hands-on experience in oil reservoir management and simulation who are looking to contribute to multi-disciplinary asset teams and drive production growth and recovery optimization.
- Monitor and analyze field platform and well production performance.
- Identify production opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize recovery and production efficiency.
- Perform well performance analysis and modeling using industry-standard software.
- Evaluate reservoir productivity and diagnose performance issues.
- Support water injection and disposal management activities.
- Participate in production enhancement and facility debottlenecking initiatives.
- Build maintain and update reservoir simulation models.
- Conduct reservoir studies to support field development planning and reservoir management strategies.
- Analyze reservoir behavior and production trends to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Develop reservoir depletion and recovery plans.
- Perform reserves estimation and production forecasting using relevant engineering methodologies and software.
- Provide engineering support for well interventions workovers recompletions and infill drilling opportunities.
- Support drilling and completion planning activities including reservoir evaluation programs.
- Collaborate with drilling production and subsurface teams to maximize asset value.
- Contribute to completion design reviews and well integrity management activities.
- Support annual business planning and production forecasting processes.
- Prepare CAPEX/OPEX estimates and perform variance analysis.
- Conduct economic evaluations of development opportunities and well projects.
- Provide technical inputs for reserves reporting and asset planning activities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in reservoir engineering and production optimization.
- Identify opportunities to increase reserves improve recovery factors and accelerate production.
- Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering Reservoir Engineering Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Masters Degree in Reservoir Engineering is an advantage.
- 10-15 years of Reservoir Engineering and/or Petroleum Engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Reservoir Simulation experience.
- Proven experience in oil reservoir modeling and field development studies.
- International experience particularly within the Asia-Pacific region is highly desirable.
- Qualified Reservoir Engineer (QRE) status is preferred.
- Strong reservoir engineering fundamentals and subsurface evaluation capabilities.

- Knowledge of integrated asset development and production optimization.
