Operational Excellence Junior Specialist
Job Summary
The role works under the guidance of Operational Excellence team members to learn structured problem solving support implementation activities and contribute to improvements in efficiency quality process stability and customer outcomes.
- Support deployment and adoption of TMW tools standards and methodologies by preparing materials tracking actions and helping teams follow agreed ways of working.
- Assist with MOS elements standard work documentation and basic structured problem-solving methods such as A3 Lean and Kaizen.
- Help collect data document gaps and summarize findings to support improvement roadmaps priorities and mitigation actions.
- Participate in Gemba walks Kaizen events and improvement workshops supporting preparation facilitation logistics note taking and follow-up.
- Support identification and prioritization of improvement opportunities by gathering data reviewing performance information and documenting observations.
- Assist improvement initiatives under guidance from opportunity framing through implementation support and stabilization follow-up.
- Support process assessments value stream mapping and workflow reviews by documenting current-state processes pain points rework and control gaps.
- Assist process and system implementation activities including requirement collection process mapping test support deployment coordination and change impact documentation.
- Help prepare simple business cases implementation trackers benefit logs and progress updates for improvement initiatives.
- Support cross-functional alignment by preparing meeting materials capturing decisions tracking actions and escalating blockers to senior team members.
- Support team members in applying basic continuous improvement tools and methodologies through templates examples and practical guidance.
- Assist with training workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions by preparing materials coordinating logistics and capturing outputs.
- Contribute to adoption of new processes systems and behaviors by supporting communication follow-up and simple change enablement activities.
- Support identification of digitalization automation and analytics opportunities by documenting manual work pain points and data needs.
- Assist in translating business needs into simple requirements use cases process maps and reporting inputs.
- Work with Digitalization Automation and Data teams under guidance to support testing feedback collection and implementation follow-up.
- Help monitor whether solutions are adopted by operations and contribute to simple improvement loops using available data and user feedback.
- Operational and frontline leadership teams across the Area.
- Functional stakeholders across Operations CX SCM Finance Product and Technology.
- Digitalization Automation and Data teams responsible for solution realization and implementation support.
- Other Operational Excellence practitioners and business transformation stakeholders involved in change delivery and capability development.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain Operations Logistics Data Analytics Finance or a related field.
- Limited formal work experience required; internship academic project student organization logistics operations data analysis or process improvement exposure is an advantage.
- Interest in operational excellence continuous improvement logistics customer operations supply chain transformation and digital ways of working.
- Basic familiarity with Lean Kaizen root cause analysis process mapping Excel PowerPoint or data visualization tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn TMW and Operational Excellence methodologies including Lean A3 Kaizen and structured problem solving.
- Good analytical mindset with the ability to organize information review data identify patterns and summarize findings clearly.
- Good communication teamwork and stakeholder coordination skills with confidence to ask questions and follow up on actions.
- Reliable execution mindset with attention to detail ownership of assigned tasks and openness to feedback and coaching.
- Quality and timeliness of assigned analysis documentation trackers and meeting outputs.
- Contribution to improvement initiatives through accurate data collection process mapping action tracking and implementation support.
- Demonstrated learning progress in TMW Lean structured problem solving and business improvement methods.
- Positive collaboration with stakeholders and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
