Operation Manager (Vehicle Body Building)

Our client is an Australian manufacturer of ready-to-deploy off-grid mobile accommodation and mobile commercial kitchens for remote projects. Theyre establishing their first Thailand manufacturing operation in the EEC with production starting January 2027.

Were recruiting an Operation Manager to own the quality system and build gateways for this greenfield operation ensuring every unit meets the clients engineering standard while administering contractor work packages.

What youll do:

• Own the quality management system and gateway process incoming inspection through final QA and pre-client inspection

• Build quality into every production stage

• Run non-conformance root-cause analysis corrective action and traceability

• Administer contractor work packages against scope standard and completion criteria

• Approve conforming work for contractor payment

• Drive continuous improvement and coach contractors on quality

• Report quality KPIs and act on the data

What youll need:

• 8 years in quality leadership in manufacturing automotive/vehicle preferred ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 experience.

• Genuine lean/continuous-improvement background (TPS Kaizen root cause poka-yoke)

• Experience running gate/inspection systems and managing supplier or contractor quality

• Fluent English and Thai

• Able to travel to Australia for approximately 8 weeks of training at the start of the role.
