Operation Engineer OP1

Join a dynamic petrochemical production environment where you will troubleshoot real-time process issues optimize daily plant operations and work across functions to keep production safe reliable and on target.

1. Provide technical and operational support to Shift Supervisors in troubleshooting production process issues to ensure safe stable and efficient plant operations in line with the production plan.
2. Prepare monthly operations reports for the BST Production summarizing production performance operating conditions key issues and corrective actions. Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure production targets are achieved.
3. Coordinate with relevant functions to source and engage contractors for equipment maintenance in accordance with the maintenance plan ensuring timely and efficient execution.
4. Coordinate with internal departments including Technical Planning Maintenance Safety Administration and Human Resources to ensure that operational activities are carried out effectively and in line with established plans.
5. Monitor and follow up on plant incidents safety incidents non-conformities and complaints to ensure that corrective actions are completed and cases are closed within the specified timelines. Consolidate and report incident status to the BST Production Manager.
6. Closely monitor and coordinate with Shift Supervisors to control the production process and ensure that raw materials and chemicals are consumed in accordance with established standards. Collect and consolidate daily reports from Shift Supervisors.
7. Regularly review operating procedures and production-related documents and propose revisions to ensure they accurately reflect actual plant operations and current operating practices.
8. Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with the companys Emergency Supporting Process (ESP) and emergency response requirements.
9. Consolidate coordinate and plan major maintenance and turnaround activities for the BST Production section with relevant functions to ensure proper planning safe execution and completion in accordance with the established plan.
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 2.70
• 1 - 2 years of experience in petrochemical manufacturing chemical process operations or a related industry
• TOEIC score of 550 or above

• Knowledge of petrochemical/chemical production processes and plant operations.
• Understanding of process safety and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of process equipment maintenance and operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of process control and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in a plant/production environment.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
