Manager Operations

The Manager - Operations is responsible for leading the day-to-day Warehousing and Distribution operations of the site and ensuring safe efficient and compliant execution of customer operations. The role supports business growth through strong operational management people leadership process optimization and service excellence while enabling the successful delivery of Maersk Warehousing and Distribution solutions.

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations for the site.
• Support delivery of operational and service performance targets.
• Manage new and existing customer operational requirements.
• Support contract execution and operational compliance.
• Monitor productivity resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
• Support implementation of approved operational investments and improvement projects.

• Execute Warehousing and Distribution strategies at the site in alignment with leadership direction.
• Support business development initiatives through operational expertise.
• Work closely with Sales and customer-facing teams during customer implementation activities.
• Lead site implementation and operational start-up activities.
• Support achievement of growth targets and operational readiness.
• Assist with tender responses and operational solution design.
• Drive process improvement and cost control initiatives to support sustainable growth.

• Lead frontline operational teams and supervisors.
• Manage workforce planning performance coaching and development.
• Facilitate training linked to products solutions and customer requirements.
• Ensure safety awareness and compliance across all site personnel.
• Promote a positive working environment focused on teamwork engagement and customer service.

• Ensure effective execution of all site operational activities.
• Maintain compliance with safety resilience regulatory and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors supporting site operations.
• Drive compliance and operational governance.
• Ensure adherence to site security and IT requirements.

• Support lease administration activities.
• Support contract administration and compliance processes.
• Maintain adherence to governance frameworks and company policies.
• Coordinate required customs reporting activities.
• Liaise with Customs authorities regarding operational requirements new products taxes and related matters.

• Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.

• Strong operational knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution.
• Experience leading frontline teams and developing operational talent.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of local operations and market environments.
• Strong operational planning and problem-solving capability.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
• Effective stakeholder management within a matrix organization.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Warehousing Distribution Logistics or Supply Chain Operations.
