As a Plumbing/ Hydraulics Engineer you will contribute to the design and delivery of hydraulic engineering services across a broad range of projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team the role will support project delivery through the preparation of designs calculations specifications and technical reports while developing strong client and project management skills under the guidance of senior engineers.
The Opportunity
Undertake concept and detailed hydraulic (plumbing) design across a diverse range of building projects.
Prepare engineering calculations technical reports drawings and specifications for hydraulic building services systems.
Design and coordinate the domestic hot and cold-water services (potable and non-potable) recycled water systems sanitary drainage and trade waste systems rainwater collection storage and drainage systems stormwater management systems etc.
Coordinate hydraulics designs with multidisciplinary teams including engineers designers project managers and clients to coordinate project outcomes.
Assist with the preparation of tender documentation and technical submissions.
Support project delivery by monitoring programme quality and budget requirements for allocated tasks.
Contribute technical input to proposals bids and project opportunities while maintaining accurate project records and documentation.

Is this role right for you
Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Hydraulic Civil or Building Services Engineering.
Atleast 47 years experience in hydraulic/plumbing engineering within a consulting engineering environment.
Experience designing plumbing and hydraulic systems for building projects and knowledge of relevant plumbing water services and drainage standards.
Progressing towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
A proactive and resilient approach with strong leadership capabilities a commitment to quality and the ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
