Group Financial Control

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller Hospitality to oversee financial control reporting accounting compliance and financial performance across a growing portfolio of hotels hostels resorts restaurants and F&B operations. This is a senior finance role responsible for maintaining strong financial controls accounting standards reporting accuracy cash management budgeting forecasting audit readiness and financial governance across multiple properties and business units. The successful candidate will work closely with Group Finance Property General Managers Hotel Financial Controllers Operations Revenue Management Procurement HR and senior leadership to ensure financial accuracy transparency compliance and commercial performance across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial control processes across multiple hotels hostels resorts restaurants and business units
• Establish and maintain effective financial policies internal controls accounting procedures and approval processes
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue expenses assets liabilities and financial transactions
• Monitor compliance with Group finance policies accounting standards and local statutory requirements
• Lead monthly quarterly and annual group financial reporting and consolidation
• Review property-level P&L balance sheets cash flow statements trial balances and management accounts
• Coordinate the annual group budgeting and forecasting process and monitor budget performance
• Monitor financial performance across key hospitality revenue streams including Rooms F&B Events Bars Restaurants and Ancillary Revenue
• Oversee group cash management liquidity reporting and working capital controls
• Coordinate internal and external financial audits across the group and ensure compliance with statutory tax accounting and regulatory requirements

About you

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA CPA CMA or equivalent is highly desirable
• Minimum 810 years of progressive finance and accounting experience preferably within hospitality
• Previous experience as Group Financial Controller Financial Controller Cluster Financial Controller Director of Finance Group Finance Manager or senior hotel finance professional
• Strong experience managing finance across multiple hotels hostels resorts restaurants or F&B operations
• Proven experience in financial reporting consolidation budgeting forecasting audit and internal controls
• Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting and operational finance
• Experience with PMS POS ERP accounting and financial reporting systems
• Strong understanding of USALI / Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical financial leadership and problem-solving skills
