Factory Manager (New Plant)
Job Summary
Lead the setup and launch of a new manufacturing facility from the ground up. Oversee factory setup establish operational systems manage production and contractor performance and drive a successful transition into full-scale manufacturing while ensuring high standards of quality safety and operational excellence.
Lead the setup commissioning and launch of a new manufacturing plant.
Establish production processes operating systems and manufacturing standards.
Manage daily factory operations production planning scheduling and workflow.
Build manage and evaluate contractor performance to ensure quality and delivery.
Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity quality and cost efficiency.
Manage production budgets KPIs and overall operational performance.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with product specifications and engineering changes.
Ensure compliance with health safety quality and housekeeping standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support the scale-up of manufacturing operations.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations including at least 5 years in a factory leadership role.
Proven experience in new plant setup factory commissioning or green field manufacturing projects.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Production Planning and Continuous Improvement.
Experience managing contractors suppliers or outsourced manufacturing operations.
Strong leadership project management and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in both Thai and English and able to travel internationally for approximately 8 weeks of on-boarding and technical training.
