English Teacher
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct English classes for hotel employees at different proficiency levels.
2. Deliver practical English training focused on real workplace and hospitality situations.
3. Teach English to employees from various departments including: Front Office Food & Beverage Housekeeping Spa Reservations Engineering Kitchen Sales & Events and Other operational and support departments as required.
4. Conduct group classes and one-on-one coaching where appropriate.
5. Use role-plays simulations games dialogues and other interactive activities to encourage active participation.
6. Develop lessons based on situations employees encounter in their daily work.
7. Curriculum & Material Development
- Assess the English needs of each department and employee group.
- Design and customize lesson plans according to job functions and operational requirements.
- Develop training materials worksheets role-play scripts vocabulary lists and learning activities.
- Adapt training content to the hotels brand standards SOPs and service standards.
- Develop English programs for different proficiency levels from basic to advanced.
8. Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Conduct English placement tests and pre-/post-training assessments.
- Monitor employees attendance participation and learning progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and individual coaching.
- Maintain accurate training records and progress reports.
- Identify areas requiring additional training or coaching.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the English training program and recommend improvements.
9. Coordination with Hotel Departments
- Work closely with HR L&D Training and Department Heads to identify employees English-language needs.
- Coordinate class schedules to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Gather feedback from managers and employees regarding training effectiveness.
- Support English-related training initiatives campaigns and activities during peak seasons or special events.
- Participate in employee engagement and learning activities.
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree or higher in English Education TESOL Applied Linguistics Hospitality Tourism or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English.
- Experience teaching adults corporate employees or working professionals is preferred.
- Experience in Hospitality English Hotel English Tourism English or the hotel/resort industry is an advantages.

- Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
