Position: PMO Specialist

Level: DDM

Work location: Bangkok SM Tower

Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Delivery and Portfolio Oversight
- Drive consistency in project execution by ensuring all teams adhere to standardized delivery methodologies and PMO governance.
- Monitor and analyze project and portfolio performance risks dependencies costs and resource capacity providing recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Provide portfolio insights and recommendations to senior leadership through dashboards reporting and strategic portfolio reviews.
- Offering hands-on guidance performance coaching and delivery assurance to project managers.
- Facilitate portfolio reviews and executive governance discussions by preparing strategic analysis recommendations and decision-making materials.
- Maintain portfolio dashboards governance calendars RAID logs decision logs and action trackers and follow up to closure.
- Monitor and report portfolio benefits realization and value delivery against approved business cases.
- Lead Steering Committees and quarterly portfolio review processes to ensure Digital investments remain aligned with business priorities strategic objectives delivery capacity and expected business outcomes.

2. Project Governance and Standards
- Define and implement project management standards methodologies and best practices.
- Establish project governance frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop project management templates tools and guidelines.

3. Project Planning and Reporting
- Support project managers in creating comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets.
- Monitor and track project progress milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate regular project status reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

4. Resource Management
- Support enterprise-wide resources and capacity planning across Digital programs and projects.
- Maintain resource allocation records and assist in resolving resource conflicts.
- Monitor resource availability and utilization.
- Monitor portfolio demand against available delivery capacity and proactively identify resource bottlenecks.

5. Project Management Capability Development
- Promote project management best practices and delivery standards across the Digital Function.
- Coach and mentor project managers on project governance stakeholder management risk management and delivery performance.
- Facilitate communities of practice and knowledge sharing sessions for project management professionals.
- Support the development of project management competency frameworks career paths and capability improvement initiatives.

6. Risk and Issue Management
- Collaborate with project teams to identify document project risks and issues and develop risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management when necessary.
- Identify and monitor cross-project and portfolio-level risks dependencies and escalations.
- Facilitate risk review forums and ensure mitigation actions are tracked to closure.

7. Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Maintain project related documentation including project charters plans and change requests.
- Establish a centralized repository for project-related documents and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure proper access controls for project documents.

8. Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure that projects adhere to Digital governance standards audit requirements cybersecurity requirements and enterprise policies.
- Conduct project audits and reviews to assess compliance with project management practices.
- Implement corrective actions and improvements as needed.

9. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving project management processes and practices.
- Participate in lessons learned sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging project management methodologies.
- Drive PMO maturity improvement initiatives and adoption of leading project and portfolio management practices.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation digital tools analytics and AI capabilities to improve PMO effectiveness and reporting efficiency

Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Engineering).
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in PMO Project Management Program Management or Portfolio Management.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale business transformation digital transformation ERP data or technology programs.
- Experience working with executive leadership teams Steering Committees and senior business stakeholders.
- Experience managing multi-project portfolios and cross-functional delivery dependencies
