Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Main Responsibilities
Assist the Local Compliance Officer (LCO) on ensuring that all new staffs obtain the required training both online and other training in person including follow up the staffs to complete the online training as stated in the laggard report.
Research and monitoring any new regulations provides guidance updates relates to insurance industry in Thailand such as Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with the AIGs compliance policies and procedures including the regulatory compliance.
Advise business on compliance-related matters in day-to-day operations.
Support and co-ordinate in preparing compliance reports and documentation for both internal and external audits including filing the report to the regulators upon their request.
Monitoring and follow up the stakeholders to complete the regulatory compliance.
Clearing sanctions hits and advise on sanctions and anti-money laundering related matters as requested by the regulators such as OIC GIA AMLO NACC and respond them accordingly in consultation with AIG Financial Crimes Group (FCG)
Monitoring and ensuring that all new staff obtain the required training both online and other training in person including follow up the staff to complete the online training as stated in the laggard report.
As necessary assist Head of Local Compliance (LCO) assignments or initiatives either led by LCO and/ or Regional/Global Compliance teams.
As requested assist with any special investigations that may be required to be performed.
Check the customers name list as requested by the regulators such as OIC GIA AMLO NACC other government organization and respond them accordingly.
Support by reviewing the English translation and/ or doing the English translation on various documents.
Maintain accurate compliance records and corrective action logs in tracking systems
Handling the Administrative works to Compliance Department.
Support Compliance task on any ad hoc operations as assigned by Regional and/ or Local Compliance Department.
Qualification and Experience
Working in an insurance industry is preferable.
Experience in Legal or Compliance and/or audit field.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Law
Skill in computer program Excel Word Power Points Outlook etc.
Good command of English (Writing Speaking Writing and Listening).Good interpersonal skills team player positive attitude self-learning enthusiastic to work.
