Key Responsibilities
- Lead plan and oversee non-motor insurance claims operations (property & miscellaneous lines) in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate complete fair and timely claims assessment and settlement within defined service standards.
- Develop and improve claims workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and develop the claims team including task allocation coaching and capability building.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to subordinates on complex claims cases.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders (underwriting legal sales) as well as external parties including brokers and agents.
- Monitor analyze and report claims performance and ensure compliance with OIC regulations relevant laws and internal governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Insurance Law Engineering or related field.
- 810 years of experience in non-motor insurance claims (property & miscellaneous) with leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance law OIC regulations and policy conditions.
- Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills especially in complex or high-risk cases.
- Proven leadership ability with strong team management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills able to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
