CivilStructural Engineer Senior Engineer – Solar PV and Wind Power

Responsibilities

Your scope of work will include the following regarding solar PV and wind power projects:

• Provide civil and structural design inputs in conceptual design studies feasibility studies and technical due diligence assessments for renewable energy projects
• Prepare technical specifications related to civil and structural works for solar PV and wind power projects to be used for tendering purposes
• Act as the Owners Engineer responsible to check EPC compliance to the Owners Technical Specifications related to design of civil and structural works
• Review and comment on the EPCs civil and structural design documents including drawings specifications and design calculations
• Participate in design review meetings
• Coordinate with Owners Engineer site engineers for any civil and structural site issues related to design

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor/Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years experience in Civil works design and Structural Design with at least 2 years spent on engineering design or design reviews. Experience in Thermal Power plant solar farm and wind farm projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of using international codes such as EUROCODE ACI  IBC ASCE AISC.
• Computer-literate & have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office SAP 2000 STAADPRO and ROBOT
• Good command of English and Thai language communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and service-minded.
• High responsibility and able to work under pressure with good working attitude.
• Possess engineering license level I or higher in Thailand would be an advantage.
