CapEx Buyer
Job Summary
The CapEx Buyer will support multiple country or multiple business sourcing this role you will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs to the global category team.
- Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events.
- Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
- Participate in local/oversea supplier selection and negotiations may lead more complex selection and negotiation.
- Champion deployment of Category strategies in capex projects and involve Category buying teams appropriately.
- Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of local stakeholder and procurement landscape.
- Understand business requirements for more complex categories sub categories aligned with local/oversea sourcing requirements.
- Support the routine CSSP activities within local/oversea sourcing.
- Conduct more complex research and analysis using a general understanding of data management and analytics and sourcing.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Provide inputs to the global category team for category strategy development and execution.
- Provide comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape.
- Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials goods services and supplies.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduated Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience (4 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in Purchasing and Sourcing.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Windows (Excel Outlook Powerpoint)
- Must be detail oriented strong organizational and time management skills to work in a fast paced environment.
- Effective inter-personal skills in deailing with all levels and departments within the company
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Purchasing Experience in Processing Plant or Agriculture.
- Experience with SAP or ERP Systems be advantage.
- Understanding of procurement requirements and standards
- Good English communication skills
- E-Auction experience be advantage.
- Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of local stakeholder and procurement landscape.
- Administer transactions associated with obtaining goods and services.
