Entegris is seeking anAnalytical Chemistwith general knowledge of analytical chemistry and techniques applied to the characterization of complex mixtures. This knowledge istovalidateanalytical methods provide support to the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality groups via QC analysis. This opportunity allows the right person to expand their technical skill set andparticipateona dynamic team in a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will be results oriented and an excellent team player with solid knowledge of chemistry materials science & physics and familiarity with semiconductor device materials structures and metrology.

In this role you will

  • Set upand qualifyinstrumentation inanew laboratoryin accordance withEntegris V&Q procedures.

  • Assistw/ set up of the LIMS system.

  • Test and analyzeraw materials in-processsamples finished productsand R&D samplesusing analytical instruments as directed by existing work instructions.

  • Maintainand troubleshoot analyticalinstrumentation andlaboratory equipment.

  • Establish and drive continuous improvement of existinglaboratory processes analyticalmethods documentation and training materials.

  • Collaborate andparticipatein cross-functional teams as analytical subject matterexpert.

  • Work w/ lab team toobtainISO 17025 accreditation.

  • Coordinate and schedule analytical testing based on production needs.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • Bachelor of Science in chemistry physics or engineeringMasters preferred.

  • General lab instrument (HPLC IC GC GC-MS FTIRRamanICP-MS ICP-OES) operations maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

  • 2years of relatedtechnicalexperience or training preferred.

  • Experience working in a laboratory that conforms to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025accreditations.

  • Experience working with air and moisture sensitive chemicals preferred

  • Familiarity with the following instrument softwarepreferred: Mass Hunter OPUS andOpenLab.

  • JMP and Minitab statistical software experience preferred.

  • Lab installation andqualificationof new analytical equipment experience preferred.

  • Experience with validation of methods preferred

  • Prior experience working in cleanroom environment preferred

  • Prior experience handling andmaintainingglovebox preferred

  • Knowledge of analytical laboratory regulationwith regard togases such H2Ar He NH3 and O2preferred

  • Knowledge of proper safe handling/disposal of chemicals and ability tomaintaina clean and safe workspace

  • Hands-onexperience with applicable quality tools such as pareto FMEAs SPC/SQC histograms trend analysis process mapping design of experimentscauseand effect diagrams 8D problem solvingmethodology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in written and spoken English.

  • Strong independent operation skills and ability to complete lab work safely

  • Basic computer knowledge including MS Office; LIMS experience preferred

  • Ability to travel5% of timesome international.

  • Using proper controls for analytical instrumentationvalidatingand verifying data and taking corrective action when necessary.

  • Improving laboratory consistency and quality ISO compliance by creating and revising laboratory policies andprocedure.

  • Conferring with process engineers development scientists and manufacturing personnelregardingresults and research preparing technical reports and presentations to promote learning.

  • Proven ability to work in a cross-cultural and cross-language team environment.

  • Ability to learn and become proficientatseveral analytical techniques.
