Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to design build and maintain scalable data solutions that support business operations and analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python SQL ETL development and database management with hands-on experience building data pipelines integrating various data sources and ensuring data quality.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders analysts and engineering teams to develop reliable and efficient data infrastructure that enables data-driven decision-making

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• Define develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

• Identify trends risks and opportunities through data analysis.

• Build scalable and automated data pipelines using SQL

• Create and maintain dashboards reports and visualizations using BI tools.

• Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting solutions to business teams.

• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems Statistics Mathematics Engineering or a related field.

• 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence Data Analytics related roles.

• Advanced SQL skills including:

• Complex joins

• Window functions

• Stored procedures

• Query optimization

• Hands-on experience reading from databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle).

• Familiar with at least one BI tools (Power BI Tableu Looker studio)

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.

• Knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Airflow.

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau Power BI QuickSight or Looker.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Experience working in large-scale fast-paced environments.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

• Strong Python programming skills for:

• Data extraction and transformation

• Process automation

• Database integration

• Data analysis
