Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

Rambus a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer is seeking to hire an exceptional Principal Manufacturing QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Taiwan or South this role you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.

As aManufacturing QA Engineeryoull play a pivotal role inensuring product quality and process integrity across theend-to-endchip manufacturingand guaranteeproduct quality that consistently meetscustomer thisfull-timerole youll report directly to ourQuality Assurance Director. OurQuality Assuranceteamis dedicated toensuringour products conform and comply with thecustomer and applicable requirementsand your contributions will be instrumental inensuringproduct quality and reliability.

• Responsible for assuringconsistentqualitycontrolsacrossthe various manufacturing partners

• Drivemanufacturing qualitythrough process and process control effectiveness of PFMEA and Process Control plans to ensure these are appropriateand sufficientto guaranteethe desiredproduct quality.

• Coordinate withmanufacturing partners and stakeholderson 8Ds related to manufacturingprocessesand drive theresolution and corrective actionsofcustomer qualityor internal processevents.

• Responsible for defining and standardizingquality requirements for backend processes related to packing and labelingas well as deploying customer-specific requirements.

• Ensurethat Rambus quality and manufacturing requirements are in line andcomplywith applicable industry standards (e.g. JEDEC EIA etc.)
• Supports risk assessment of nonconforming products as well assupplier PCNsubmissions.

• Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field

• Minimum8years experiencein the semiconductor industry with5yrs min experience inProcess and/or Quality Engineering in semiconductor manufacturing.

• Preferred direct working experiences insemiconductorfoundryand/or OSATs

• Working knowledge of relevant industry standards JEDEC EIA etc.

• Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
