Our mission is to build intelligent scalable tools that enable precision automation image based process control and analytics for advanced manufacturing technologies.

This team partners closely with process engineers data scientists and manufacturing technology experts to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of semiconductors imaging and software engineering.

• Lead mentor and grow a team of fullstack software engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Own hiring onboarding performance management and career development for team members.
• Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for applications that enable image processing inspection automation and data driven decision making for advanced manufacturing.
• Partner with process engineering equipment teams and SMAI stakeholders to align development priorities with business objectives and translate requirements into robust software solutions.
• Manage project planning capacity allocation and delivery timelines across concurrent workstreams.
• Establish and champion engineering best practices including code quality testing standards CI/CD processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams on integration end-to-end testing deployment and user enablement.

• Leverage generative AI and modern development tools to accelerate team productivity and development cycles.
• Own and manage a 24/7 on call standby rotation to provide Level 3 (L3) operational support for Manufacturing SMAI applications owned by the team including support during Emergency Response Team (ERT) activations and Priority 1 / Priority 2 (P1/P2) incidents.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or related fieldwith 7 years of professional software development experience and 2 years in a people management or technical leadership role
• Strong technical background in:
  • Object-oriented programming with production-level proficiency in C# Python Java or similar.
  • Software architecture design system design and scalability patterns.
  • Relational and/or NoSQL databases including schema design and query optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in:
  • Building scaling and managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Agile methodologies sprint planning and software delivery lifecycle management.
  • Driving technical decisions and establishing engineering standards across a team.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Image processing computer vision or machine learning applied in real-world projects.
  • Fullstack development including front-end frameworks (Angular/React/etc.) and backend services.
  • Designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services at scale.
• Proven ability to communicate effectivelywith both technical and non-technical stakeholders present strategic plans to leadership and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
