HP Personal Systems has the worlds broadest portfolio of devices including notebooks desktops monitors and gaming hardware supported by services and nextgeneration software. The Personal Systems business is HPs largest unit with over $38B in annual revenue.

We are hiring a Business Strategy Manager Gaming to play a pivotal role in shaping and driving enterpriselevel strategic initiatives across HP Gaming Solutions. This role operates as a senior individual contributor and trusted advisor to executive leadership leading highly complex strategic problemsolving strategic framing and analytical work that directly informs portfolio strategy investment decisions and longrange planning.

The role is expected to operate with broad autonomy influence senior and executive stakeholders and translate ambiguity into clear strategic direction and actionable implications across the Gaming business. This role is wellsuited for a seasoned strategy leader with deep analytical rigor strong business judgment and a proven ability to drive impact in fastmoving ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of short mid and longterm Gaming business strategies including market positioning growth priorities and investment tradeoffs.
  • Own and drive complex strategic analyses across markets customers competitors and internal performance with clear implications for executive decisionmaking.
  • Design build and interpret advanced financial statistical and analytical models to support scenario planning capital allocation and portfolio strategy.
  • Synthesize large complex datasets into clear actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Independently prepare and present executiveready materials for leadership reviews planning forums and crossfunctional discussions.
  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders proactively identifying risks opportunities and strategic inflection points.
  • Monitor and interpret key industry technology and business trends to inform Gaming strategy and longrange planning.
  • Drive alignment across crossfunctional teams (Finance Marketing Product Operations Sales) on assumptions data and strategic direction.
  • Lead and structure workstreams for strategic initiatives defining objectives success metrics timelines and deliverables.
  • Apply structured problemsolving and consulting frameworks to ambiguous highimpact business questions.
  • Provide mentorship coaching and quality review of work produced by junior strategy team members (without direct peoplemanagement responsibility).

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Fouryear or Graduate degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 1015 years of relevant experience in business strategy strategic planning management consulting corporate strategy or related analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading endtoend strategy workstreams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis financial modeling and executive storytelling.
  • Consulting experience or equivalent internal strategy role strongly preferred.
  • Experience in technology consumer electronics or gaming ecosystems is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English

The pay range for this role is $130700 to $205200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location job-related knowledge skills and experience.
