Introduction:
You will be responsible for supporting the payroll of several countries in Asia.
Your Job:
End-to-End Processing: Manage monthly payroll cycles for local employees overseeing salary calculations bonuses commissions and deductions.
Statutory Compliance: Calculate and process mandatory statutory contributions (Labor Insurance National Health Insurance and Labor Pension).
Tax Administration: Handle employee income tax withholding (e.g. filings with the National Taxation Bureau) deductions and annual tax reconciliations.
Data Auditing & Analysis: Reconcile payroll data against attendance and leave systems. Analyze payroll trends resolve mismatches and prepare financial and headcount reports for management.
Policy Guidance: Advise internal stakeholders on local labor standards (like overtime caps and leave provisions)
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting.
Experience: 2 years of hands-on payroll experience with a strong preference for individuals who have worked across Japan Korea China and Taiwan payroll.
Regulatory Expertise: Robust knowledge of the Taiwan Labor Standards Act (LSA) specifically regarding factory work hours statutory holiday pay and overtime calculation rules.
Technical Proficiency: High level of skill in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables). Experience with major HRIS and manufacturing time-attendance software (e.g. Workday SAP Oracle) is highly preferred.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate across plant floors and coordinate with global or regional headquarters.
