Job Summary
Join our Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team of HR Coordinators and HR Advisors to play a key role in shaping the employee journey at CERN supporting a diverse community of students graduates and staff while navigating a dynamic and evolving environment by designing and delivering tailored HR support services and policies. If you have an eye for detail and a genuine interest in people and HR matters are keen to gain a deep understanding of HR processes and develop your interpersonal skills then this is the right position for you.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient friendly and reliable administration and communication for various HR processes and queries supporting HR professionals and their client departments.
- Inform and advise student and graduate populations throughout their experience at CERN on several topics (regulations integration processes etc.).
- Deliver engaging presentations on HR topics to a variety of audiences both within and beyond the group.
- Master the swift administration of contractual actions for several populations.
Your profile:
- Experience dealing with discretion and confidentiality.
- Interest/experience with delivering presentations.
- Interest/experience with customer service roles.
Skills:
- Effective written and oral communication adapting the style to different audiences.
- Working in teams promoting a positive atmosphere through an optimistic and constructive attitude.
- Maintaning discretion and accountability.
- Delivering high-quality work on time and fulfilling expectations.
- Proactive attitude on taking on activities and tasks without prompting.
- MS Office knowledge.
- Presentation crafting and delivering skills.
- Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Human Resources Administration related (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants with a Bachelors Masters or PhD degree are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
