People Experience Assistant (HR-PXEGRAE)

Join our Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team of HR Coordinators and HR Advisors to play a key role in shaping the employee journey at CERN supporting a diverse community of students graduates and staff while navigating a dynamic and evolving environment by designing and delivering tailored HR support services and policies. If you have an eye for detail and a genuine interest in people and HR matters are keen to gain a deep understanding of HR processes and develop your interpersonal skills then this is the right position for you.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient friendly and reliable administration and communication for various HR processes and queries supporting HR professionals and their client departments.
• Inform and advise student and graduate populations throughout their experience at CERN on several topics (regulations integration processes etc.).
• Deliver engaging presentations on HR topics to a variety of audiences both within and beyond the group.
• Master the swift administration of contractual actions for several populations.

Your profile:

• Experience dealing with discretion and confidentiality.
• Interest/experience with delivering presentations.
• Interest/experience with customer service roles.

Skills:

• Effective written and oral communication adapting the style to different audiences.
• Working in teams promoting a positive atmosphere through an optimistic and constructive attitude.
• Maintaning discretion and accountability.
• Delivering high-quality work on time and fulfilling expectations.
• Proactive attitude on taking on activities and tasks without prompting.
• MS Office knowledge.
• Presentation crafting and delivering skills.
• Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.

Eligibility criteria:

• You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
• By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Human Resources Administration related (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
• Applicants with a Bachelors Masters or PhD degree are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
