What Youll Do

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the R&I team you will serve as a trusted scientific expert in the field. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in high-level scientific exchange and building enduring peer-to-peer relationships with external experts
• Uncovering and communicating clinical insights and unmet medical needs in Switzerland to shape medical strategy and brand plans
• Collaborating with Regulatory Market Access Marketing and other departments on field-related medical activities
• Supporting the lifecycle of respiratory compounds and leading scientific interactions for clinical research programs and externally sponsored research
• Representing AstraZenecas commitment to science and medical excellence in all external engagements
  

Skills And Experience

• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally as an MSL or within Medical Affairs
• University degree in a health-related scientific field (MD PhD or equivalent)
• Proficiency in German English is essential. French and/or Italian is desirable.
• Solid understanding of respiratory diseases is advantageous
• Strong communication and presentation skills suited to diverse audiences
• Active driving licence for frequent field engagement
