What Youll Do
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the R&I team you will serve as a trusted scientific expert in the field. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in high-level scientific exchange and building enduring peer-to-peer relationships with external experts
- Uncovering and communicating clinical insights and unmet medical needs in Switzerland to shape medical strategy and brand plans
- Collaborating with Regulatory Market Access Marketing and other departments on field-related medical activities
- Supporting the lifecycle of respiratory compounds and leading scientific interactions for clinical research programs and externally sponsored research
- Representing AstraZenecas commitment to science and medical excellence in all external engagements
Skills And Experience
- Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally as an MSL or within Medical Affairs
- University degree in a health-related scientific field (MD PhD or equivalent)
- Proficiency in German English is essential. French and/or Italian is desirable.
- Solid understanding of respiratory diseases is advantageous
- Strong communication and presentation skills suited to diverse audiences
- Active driving licence for frequent field engagement
