Director Logistics transition & Cost-to-Serve Optimization
ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY :
The Director Logistics Transition & Cost-to-Serve Optimization is responsible for shaping the companys end-to-end logistics efficiency framework. Focus is on transportation optimization inventory reduction and dynamic route/stock allocation algorithms. This role leads the transition to the new operating model standing up the COE for Logistics and particular focus on cost-to-serve analytics to ensure that the business operates with optimal cost high service reliability and maximum operational agility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Mapping of current COE activities understanding of capability gaps and opportunities to upskill
Mapping of current way of working for leg A and C logistics understand synergies
Propose the new logistics efficiency frame work to manage end to end transportation
propose future set up for WH management and optimization of cost
Analysis of current savings pipeline in leg AB C transport
Proposal for 2026 / 27 savings initiatives and manage those with selected members of the team
Proposal for future Logistics COE transition plan
In addition the role will lead the establishment of Cost-to-Serve Modeling & Profitability Insights
Build and maintain cost-to-serve models
Convert insights into actionable recommendations
Lead cross-functional forums on logistics efficiency cost-to-serve optimization and transportation efficiency.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
- 15 years in supply chain strategy network design transportation optimization or related fields.
- Proven experience leading large-scale supply chain design/optimization initiatives.
- Demonstrated success improving transportation cost efficiency and dynamic routing solutions.
- Prior responsibility for cost-to-serve profitability modeling or inventory optimization.
Technical Skills
- Expertise with network modeling and optimization tools.
- Strong analytical background (SQL Python/R advanced Excel).
- Deep understanding of transportation networks TMS systems and routing optimization principles.
- Experience with inventory strategy and working capital reduction.
- Leadership & Business Skills
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex models into business recommendations.
- Effective stakeholder management across commercial operations finance and technology.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and measurable impact.

Reduction in total supply chain cost.
Increased transportation efficiency and reduced cost-per-drop.
Improved profitability through cost-to-serve insights.
Higher inventory turns and reduced working capital.
Improved service levels and reduced lead times.
