What will you do

In this role you will be central to driving operational excellence and long-term capability within BA Wind by ensuring our maintenance and supply chain systems deliver value across all business units. You will lead the governance of SAP PM/MM and connected platforms balancing local needs with harmonised ways of working that support Vattenfalls strategy for fossil freedom. As the primary business counterpart to IT you will define solution objectives approve functional designs and formally accept deliveriesalways focused on securing reliable outcomes for both day-to-day operations and future growth.

Your main tasks include:

  • Owning business product responsibility for SAP PM/MM and related systems ensuring fitness-for-purpose across assets and markets
  • Steering system improvements and implementation initiatives from scoping through go-live aligning priorities to BA-wide goals rather than isolated site needs
  • Building and developing an international MSIS organisation fostering engagement performance and change leadership across diverse locations
  • Connecting stakeholders such as SCMS TIM Finance Engineering D1R IT and Site/Operations to enable shared accountability in solution delivery
  • Overseeing incident and change management via ticketing systems to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and drive continuous improvement

You will regularly review system performance against KPIs and act on corrective measures where needed. Success means strategic developments of maintenance systems and high-quality systems support delivered consistentlyand your team is equipped with the skills needed to sustain improvements. Through mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge across functions you help shape a collaborative culture where sustainable ideas are actively exchanged. Your expertise guides senior leadership on investments and trade-offs in our systems portfolio so that our roadmap remains forward-lookingbalancing regulatory demands with operational stability.

Location  
This is an international role based in Kolding Amsterdam or Solna with regular travel across our key locations. You will lead a diverse team and shape digital investments that support BA Winds operational excellence.


Qualifications :

You bring a strategic mindset and substantial experience in managing complex business systems within international multi-site environments. Your background includes a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Information Systems Computer Science Supply Chain or a closely related discipline. You have deep knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) with S/4HANA expertise that enables you to deliver robust solutions across diverse asset types. Relevant certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 agile frameworks or SAP PM/MM are a strong advantage and help you steer successful implementation projects end-to-end.

Your ability to lead and develop multicultural teams is matched by your persuasive communication skills; you thrive on building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Analytical thinking and problem-solving come naturally to youespecially when balancing local needs with enterprise-wide priorities. You get excited when shaping harmonised ways of working that drive operational value across locations. You are at your best connecting stakeholders from SCMS IT Finance and Operations to achieve shared accountability. To succeed in this role we expect:

  • Professional proficiency in English; Danish Swedish German or Dutch is an advantage
  • Proven experience leading system ownership or functional management for SAP PM/MM in large-scale organisations
  • Demonstrated track record managing international teams through change initiatives
  • Strong portfolio management skills with evidence-based prioritisation
  • Agile mindset: experienced with sprint planning and iterative delivery
