Founded in 2012 in Linköping by Anders Petersson Sparv Embedded develops innovative meteorological measurement solutions by combining electronics embedded systems and software. The company specializes in creating mobile portable and user-friendly systems for weather and environmental monitoring in the field. What started as early experiments with control systems for radio-controlled aircraft has grown into a company with more than ten full-time employees and a network of local and international partners.

Sparv is the creator of Windsond the worlds lightest radiosonde which is widely used in weather research across Europe and North America as well as within defense and firefighting applications. The company has also developed Sparvio a uniquely modular platform for UAV-based measurements that enables seamless integration of various sensors for weather and environmental monitoring.

Sparvs mission is to drive innovation within environmental and measurement technology and provide researchers industries and decision-makers with better data for smarter decisions in a changing world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Representative at Sparv Embedded your initial focus will be on generating new business opportunities through active prospecting and outbound sales activities. A large part of the role involves identifying potential customers initiating contact via email LinkedIn and phone as well as booking and qualifying meetings. You will also follow up on customer dialogues prepare quotations and drive opportunities through to closing.

Initially you will focus on acquiring new customers within segments such as research institutions universities and firefighting organizations where Sparv Embedded sees significant growth potential. Over time the role may also include working with defense-related customers and partners.

While the role includes some interaction with existing customers the primary focus is on new business development and pipeline generation. As you grow into the position you will have the opportunity to independently manage more complex sales processes and take greater ownership of the entire sales cycle. This is a role where you can truly contribute make an impact and grow alongside the company.

You will be based at Sparv Embeddeds office in Ebbepark Linköping. The role involves primarily digital meetings although occasional customer visits are also part of the job. You will work closely with colleagues across both business development and engineering. Initially you will receive strong support from experienced team members providing a solid foundation to gradually take on greater responsibility within sales.

We also believe that you have:

  • A few years of sales experience or relevant education combined with sales experience through internships part-time work or similar.

  • Excellent English communication skills. Fluent Swedish and additional languages are considered a strong advantage.

  • A genuine interest in technology and a curiosity to continuously learn and develop.
