Oticon Medical BAHS specializes in developing producing and distributing advanced bone-anchored hearing systems including long-term implants sound processors software and surgical tools.

We are a global leader in hearing solutions located in Sisjön Gothenburg and we are currently looking for an IT Support Technician (Level 1 & 2) to ensure the technical maintenance of all IT equipment within the company and guarantee the proper functioning and reliability of each device.

Reporting to the IT Manager you will play a key role in delivering first- and second-level support to end users troubleshooting hardware and software issues and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• The assembly installation commissioning and monitoring of new IT equipment and systems.
• On-site or remote intervention on employees equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Hardware maintenance including performing regular updates on employees workstations.
• Ensuring the security of the companys networks and data.
• Implementing IT solutions to provide employees with the necessary resources to perform their tasks with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Training staff members following the installation of new equipment and raising awareness about best practices for maintaining IT hardware.
• Identifying equipment obsolescence and providing reports to management to support partial or full renewal of the IT infrastructure.
• Monitoring and managing IT inventory and stock levels.

Your profile:

• A degree in IT computer science or a related field (Bac2 or higher) is appreciated but equivalent experience or a strong interest in IT environments will also be considered.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Strong technical knowledge of IT environments operating systems networks and infrastructure solutions
