Full Stack Product Engineer

Merch that moves business needs a platform that moves just as fast.

From scattered purchases without brand control to the magic that happens when it all clicks: merch that makes a real impact on one global platform customized for each client as if they built it themselves.

Thats what were building at Exakt. The platform is up and running but this is only the beginning. Now comes the most advanced part and were looking for an engineer with the drive and the skills to build it on a global scale.

What youll do

Youll build and own our merch platform full stack: TypeScript and React on the frontend Node APIs in the middle and a MedusaJS headless commerce backend all running on GCP.

Its live with our first clients and the codebase is still young enough that your decisions will stick. From here youll:

• Own the platform end to end from architecture to checkout

• Refine and develop the product logic. One t-shirt can come in 62 colors and seven sizes from several suppliers production partners and locations. Find new ways to make it all run even more smoothly

• Take our client dashboard further with the advanced features our clients didnt know they needed and even more transparency around orders statistics and the environmental impact of what they buy

• Automate the manual work on the platform and behind the scenes so the team can spend more time on the creative work

• Set the technical direction with our founder and help shape the team as we grow
  

Who you are

You enjoy figuring out whats needed and making it happen without waiting to be asked. And youre curious about the business behind the code whether youre shaping a feature or talking ideas through with a client in English.

• Youre resourceful and happy to use a smart existing solution instead of reinventing it

• You bring experience and an open mind. You know how to move fast and youre always curious about new ways of working

• You know when speed matters more than perfection and you make sure the quick fix doesnt become permanent

• You work AI-first and take security and client data just as seriously

• You like people and youd rather be at the office with the team than on mute

Youre comfortable across backend and frontend and our designers take care of the design. Experience with e-commerce Medusa or multi-tenant platforms is a plus but not a must.

Were guessing you already have the essentials. The limited editions are a bonus and the rest youll pick up along the way.
