Who is your future team

You will be part of Axis OS Connected Services team.We are responsible forsystem access and multimedia streaming functionality in AXIS OSwitha primary focus on cloud-connected systems. Our developers work in small agile teams in close collaboration with both internal and external partners. Our goal is to offer high-quality modern cyber-secure are now looking for a talented software developer to join our System security team. Our servicesarea keypart of achieving cyber-secure systems with both old and new Axis devices and integrating well with partner solutions.

What youll do here as a software developer

As a software developer in Axis OS connected services team you will join the group responsible for developing new enhanced access and security solutions for systems ofAxis devices. Our coming system service functionality helpscustomers secure monitor and configure large fleets of Axis devices. It also enables compatibility between old and new systems and implement modern standards (like OAuth2 SZTP and mTLS) with least privilege access models for secure device-to-cloud and device-to-device communication.

We work with open-source components when applicable and increasingly make use of AI assisted development.

As a developer in the System security team you will be involved in all parts of the development from design to implementation testing deployment and monitoring in close collaboration with our technology partners.

Your responsibilities and your main tasks will include:

• Developing and implementingnew security features forsystems of devices
• Designing threat modelling programming reviewing documenting and writing test
• Sharing the knowledge and competence with other teams and colleagues

Who are we looking for

We are looking foryou who likecomplex technical challenges and enjoys working in groups with other skilled engineers with a culture that is characterized by cooperation and shared responsibility. We believe that you are a driven software developer who has a relevant education at university level. We hope you enjoy modern software development focusing on incremental releases user needs and data monitoring. You like to take initiative and influence with your ideas and thoughts.

We think you have:

• A masters degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience from C programming in a Linux environment
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as C Golang or Rust
• Experience of multi-threaded programming
• Experience working with network communication and cloud connected software platforms

Its a bonus if you also have:

• A solid understanding of modern operating systems
• A good understanding of HTTP protocols proxy technologies and encryption mechanisms like TLS and PKI
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub actions
• Experience with AI-assisted programming
