Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the quality accuracy and reliability of data and analytics solutions through comprehensive testing and automation. The ideal candidate will validate data pipelines reports and dashboards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies test plans and test cases for data and analytics solutions.
- Validate data models ETL processes reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform data validation regression testing and automation using Python and SQL.
- Identify document and support the resolution of data quality issues.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure traceability using Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in quality engineering and testing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering or Data Quality Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and working knowledge of Python for test automation or data validation.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies ETL/BI testing and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with Jira Confluence and cloud data platforms such as GCP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
